I like to roller skate, watch anime, and read webcomics in my free time. I also love hanging out with friends and listening to music. My favorite pass times are floral photography (All floral pictures on here were taken by me!) and playing card games, board games, or puzzles/mind games. I think it's fun that I have to figure out a strategy or a solution. A majority of the time of time you'll see me playing "Magic: The Gathering" or editing a deck for it because I love that there are so many different ways that game can be played and customized.
I studied computer science at college of the canyons. I took classes such as Algorithms and Progamming as well as Data Structures. I also learned JavaScript here as I had previously been using Java throughout high school.
I started working as a receptionist at a veterinary hospital. Here I learned customer service and client communication to keep our clients happy and informed. I also learned prioritization to help decrease wait times for our clients. The hospital then decided to go completely digital and placed me in charge of setting everything up. This meant implementing new software, creating applications to aide them wherever the new software was lacking, maintaining devices, and fixing any technical issues that may occur.
After researching for a while I found App Academy where I was able to learn everything I needed to learn in order to become a great software engineer. With them I was able to practice and create frontend, backend, and fullstack projects as well as practice with database communication.
